Preparing Your Home Clutter poses significant hazards to a smooth and cost efficient cleaning.
We do NOT do "pick ups" unless requested
as these add time and costs $$$
Floors/Areas, which you want cleaned, must be decluttered
Organize paperwork, toys, clear dishes, laundry, etc.
Remove clutter from bathroom and kitchen counters. Placing bottles, etc. in baskets means a more detailed and less expensive cleaning
We will not "ask" a person to move from an area, it will just be passed over.
We do not clean animal waste, feline litter boxes, bird cages, etc.
919Green Cleaning assumes un-flushed toilets are a plumbing issue and will not be cleaned.
We clean and sanitize toilets, not scrape or scour week old waste.
919Green Cleaning are not plumbers. If we have to "snake" a drain in order to clean a $10 per drain cost will be billed.
919Green Cleaning is not responsible for jewelry or valuables that get vacuumed up, fall into a drain or fall into inaccessible areas. Please put these away in preparation for your cleaning.
If your home/floors require "pick-ups" before we can clean and vacuum an additional $20 per/1000sqft will be added
If you need to change your schedule appointment time or day please give us at least 5 business days notice via email, contact@919GreenCleaning.com

Scheduling Adjustment w/ More than 5 Days notice
Adjusting your cleaning by a day or two is usually workable, especially with advance notice.
Scheduling changes w/ Less than 5 Days notice
The client is responsible for 100% of the cost of cancelled/skipped service, through Venmo, Zelle or Paypal. This payment must be made by 5:00pm* the day of scheduled service, any later will be accessed an additional late payment fee of $35

Skipping A Cleaning (w/ more than 5 business days notice) A *$35 to $60 "skipping" fee will be added to your next cleaning as your home will be going double the time between cleanings. Please email contact@919GreenCleaning.com so we may make this adjustment for you.
*$35 up to 1800sqft, $60 over 1800sqft
Courtesy Once we take a reservation we hold that time slot open for you, schedule the proper amount of work hours and turn away other potential clients in order to ensure your appointment. While we never like to impose cancellation fees we must for cancellations with little or no notice. We understand this is an inconvenience but remember all providers do this in order to run a business (your doctor, your lawyer, plumber, etc.)

New Service 919Green Cleaning requires a deposit for all new service scheduling, based on the size of the home.
$50 for homes under 1800sqft
$100 for homes over 1800sqft
This deposit will be applied to the balance owed for the initial service. 919Green Cleaning will not schedule or hold an appointment until the deposit is paid. Deposits are refundable with more than five business days' cancelation notice. Deposits can be paid through Venmo, Zelle or Paypal (fee's may apply).
Email Reminders We send out email reminders. If you wish to be removed from receiving email reminders please notify us by email (contact@919GreenCleaning.com). Lockout policies are still applied if no reminders are requested.
Payment All payments are due at time of service, upon arrival (cash or check in a sealed envelope which can be provided), with 919Green Cleaning on the outside.
Electronic payment is accepted, via Venmo, Zelle or Paypal and these must be received by 8:00am the day of your scheduled service. PayPal payments must also include an additional 3.3% service fee.
Payment not left for service The client agrees to make electronic payment, through Venmo, Zelle or Paypal for 100% of the service cost plus an additional service fee of $20. This payment must be made by "close of business" on the day of service (5:00pm).
*This applies to service preformed or not preformed. Cleaning or not, without payment, is at the sole discretion on 919Green Cleaning.
Returned Checks In the event of a returned check client agrees to make electronic payment, through Venmo, Zelle or Paypal for 100% of the service cost plus a returned check of $40.00.
Lock Out, Alarm, etc. In the event of a lockout, triggered alarm or if the home is inaccessible for any reason the client agrees to make electronic payment, through Venmo, Zelle or Paypal for 100% of the service cost plus an additional 10% lockout fee. *919Green Cleaning (and staff) will not wait for the situation to be corrected.
Pets Having animals ourselves, we do NOT require you to lock your animals on the days that we clean.
*If any member of our team feels unsafe around a pet 919Green Cleaning withholds the right to cancel the service immediately, without any refund (full or partial)... in other words make sure they are friendly with and without a vacuum running.
Hygiene We do not touch or clean bodily fluids, human or animal waste (includes human waste left on toilets), that includes cat or dog waste, other critter droppings, etc. We are a cleaning service, not janitorial service. We do not clean any area with a bugs, spiders, roaches, etc. dead or alive.
Prices and Saving Money In order to keep our prices low, it is important for us to have uninterrupted access to the areas of your home that will be cleaned. Please see our Saving Money page for more helpful savings tips
Arrival times Due to the unpredictable nature of cleaning, traffic, etc. 919Green Cleaning cannot guarantee the exact arrival time. We require the flexibility to start and finish between the hours of 7:30 am to 5:00 pm.
Money saving tip: 7:30 or 8am start time means you save money... everyone can do an 11:30am arrival.
Add-on Services We are happy to provide you with additional services (inside of the refrigerator/cupboards, extra linens, etc). Additional tasks need to be requested in advance via email (contact@919GreenCleaning.com) so we can schedule the additional time and supplies needed. Additional fees are incurred when additional services are needed.
Parking and Access
Please understand that in some cases, apartments, condos, townhomes and single family homes are in hard to park areas and/or with multilayer security... these may have extra costs built in to pricing to accommodate the extra time needed to access the unit.
Notes or Verbal Requests All requests must be emailed (contact@919GreenCleaning.com), preferably with as much notice as possible.
Strangers! If there are going to be people in your home, other than the homeowner, please inform us via email (contact@919GreenCleaning.com) and they must have their own access... 919Green Cleaning will NOT let other providers in or out of your home.
919Green Cleaning is a fully insured cleaning company. One of the main reasons "your cleaning lady" is so cheap is because they likely are not carrying the legally required liability insurance or legally required worker's compensation insurance.
If an uninsured service provider damages your possessions or property you have No chance of recouping the loss. It's ok, TV's are a lot cheaper than they used to be.
If an uninsured service provider hurts themselves in your home they can actually sue you (the home owner) for medical cost and lost wages.
$15/hr doesn't even cover rent anywhere in Wake County We pay our employees a living wage to avoid turnover and to show respect for their hard work. Would you want an underappreciated and disgruntled person cleaning your home?
Solicitation of the Client 919Green Cleaning requires all customers to report any solicitation by our employees or subcontractors immediately.
Solicitation of the Providers The client agrees that he/she will not solicit, entice, or influence any service provider of 919Green Cleaning to leave 919Green Cleaning or take over the cleaning service directly or indirectly, individually, through a family member, any other person or any other company. If such a case arises all action, within the law, will be taken to recoup the financial loss.
Termination The client may terminate cleaning service at any time by giving 919Green Cleaning a minimum of 30 days written notice via email (contact@919GreenCleaning.com).
The client is responsible for the full cost of ALL regular services scheduled in the 30 period, preformed or not.
919Green Cleaning reserves the right to cancel services, without notice, for any violation of 919Green Cleaning policy.
Communication To ensure that all your needs are considered, please address all requests, changes or issues directly to 919Green Cleaning via email (contact@919GreenCleaning.com). All issues, quality of work or otherwise, must be addressed via email (contact@919GreenCleaning.com) within 24 hours of your service.
Windows While many "independent" cleaners or "cleaning ladies" will clean your windows, be wary. 919Green Cleaning does not clean windows, inside or out, for the simple reason that cleaning companies are NOT insured to clean windows. It is a completely different insurance, meaning thousands of dollars more per year. If your provider is not insured for this work they can sue you, the home owner, for medical bills, lost wages, etc. if they were to be hurt cleaning your windows.
Personal Information We request that you do not give out your personal or contact information or request such information from any member of our team. In doing so you, the client, assume all liability due to the use of such information.
In hiring 919Green Cleaning you acknowledge the we take before/after pictures or pictures of areas that shine. We do not use any pictures with ANY personal info (pics, paperwork, etc..) and will tastefully edit identifiable information out as needed.
*919Green Cleaning reserves the right to perform services or not to perform services in the event of nonpayment. This is at the sole discretion of 919Green Cleaning.
**919Green Cleaning reserves the right to require prepayment, via Venmo, Zelle, Paypal, cash payment only. This is at the sole discretion of 919Green.
Confidentiality: 919Green Cleaning recognizes and acknowledges that this Agreement creates a confidential relationship between 919Green Cleaning and the Client and that information concerning the client’s business affairs, customers, vendors, finances, properties, methods of operation and other such information, whether written, oral, or otherwise, is confidential information. 919Green Cleaning agrees, that it will not, at any time, during or after the term of this agreement disclose any confidential information to any person or business whatsoever. 919Green Cleaning further agrees to binds its staff to the terms and conditions of this Agreement.
The information in this document is privileged and the confidential information of 919Green Cleaning. You are hereby notified that any dissemination, distribution or copy of this document and/or information is strictly prohibited. Any disclosure of the above stated information is a direct violation of protected trade information. In hiring 919Green Cleaning you are agreeing to all terms and policies listed above.
